Il Padre ha donato il Suo proprio Figlio,
Colui che e’ la Via, la Verita’ e la Vita e’ venuto,

Gerusalemme, cos’hai perso mentre dormivi,
il Salvatore del mondo sta morendo su una croce oggi;
Gerusalemme verrai ricordata nella storia 
come la citta’ senza spazio per il suo Re,
mentre dormivi,
mentre dormivi.

3) Stati Uniti d’America
sembra una notte silenziosa come tante altre…
E mentre I filosofi ci canzonano che dormiamo,
che salviamo gli alberi e ammaziamo I bambini;
E mentre ce ne stiamo tranquilli nel buio,
Si udra’ un grido che proviene dal cielo dell’est,
per annunziare che lo Sposo e’ venuto
ed ha potato via la Sua Sposa nella notte.

Cara America, cosa ci stiamo perdendo mentre dormiamo,
Gesu’ verra’ di nuovo e ci lascera’ dormire tranquilli dove siamo.
America sarai ricordata nella storia 
come la nazione senza un posto per il suo Re
